Book signings by authors

Filmmakers, actors or “heritage transmitters,” they are also cinema writers. Lumière 2018 has the pleasure of welcoming these personalities who will present their works during book signings.

Monday, October 15th
Didier Decoin following the 9:30am screening of Toboggan at the Institut Lumière (theater 1), will sign his novels and Henry ou Henri, le roman de mon père (Stock)
Didier Decoin following the 6pm screening of Les Amants du Pont Saint-Jean at the Institut Lumière (theater 2), will sign his novels and Henry ou Henri, le roman de mon père (Stock)
Jean-François Stévenin at 6:30pm at the festival Village will sign the boxed set, "The complete Jean-François Stévenin series in restored version" (Le Pacte)
Christopher Frayling at 7pm at the festival Village will sign his book, Sergio Leone, Quelque chose à voir avec la mort (Actes Sud / Institut Lumière)

Tuesday, October 16th
Bertrand Tavernier following the 2:30pm screening of The Face of the Cat/ The Cat at the Institut Lumière (theater 1), will sign the DVD boxed set of his series, My Journeys Through French Cinema and other works

Wednesday, October 17th

Mylène Demongeot and Dominique Besnehard following the 2:45pm screening of Mylène Demongeot, la Milady du cinéma at the Institut Lumière (theater 2), will sign Mes monstres sacrés (Flammarion) and Adieu Kharkov (Dupuis) by Mylène Demongeot and Casino d'hiver (Plon) by Dominique Besnehard 
Jerry Schatzberg at 6pm at exhibit "Bob Dylan - Jerry Schatzberg," 3 rue Pléney, Lyon 1st, will sign his book, Dylan par Schatzberg (ACC Artbooks / Skira)

Friday, October 19th
Michel Ciment at 11:30am at the Lumière Warehouse (20 rue du Premier Film, Lyon 8th), will sign his works, including L'Odyssée de 2001 which he edited (Actes Sud / Institut Lumière)
