Céline Locatelli

Itinerary of a Lelouch fan

"The Dictionary of My Life," signed by Claude Lelouch is the book on her nightstand; her right forearm is tattooed with the words of the impossible "Quest" of her idol Jacques Brel. Céline Locatelli would not have missed the Lumière festival for anything in the world.

An ardent admirer of Claude Lelouch (guest of honor of this 10th edition), bubbly Céline did not hesitate to leave her Corsican village of Appietto for a few days to meet her favorite filmmaker. "I learned on social media that he was coming to the festival, so I decided to come on a whim - or rather a crush," confesses Céline Locatelli. A newcomer to the Lumière festival, this "Lelouchienne" will not forget her time in Lyon anytime soon. Céline was also the first person to walk through the doors of the Comédie Odéon to attend the master Class of the director of “A Man and a Woman.” The exciting encounter reinforced her love for the filmmaker: "I like his films because he turns ordinary life into extraordinary life. He manages to capture little things and give them value. With him, life becomes a festival! Icing on the cake, Céline was able to ask her idol a question and give him a letter at the end of the session. It was like a gift for the nine-year-old girl who had experienced "an aesthetic shock" discovering “Bolero” on the big screen: "The final scene accompanied by Ravel's Boléro, marked me for life!” A former sports journalist for Canal Plus, a voice actress for the National Audiovisual Institute, an assistant on Pink TV: Céline has lived a hundred lives before settling in Corsica, nicknamed the Isle of Beauty, where she is currently the agent of sculptor "Oliv'ine". During the master class, Claude Lelouch constantly reminded viewers to "enjoy the moment." A philosophy of life that Céline Locatelli has made her own.
