The American Comedy all-nighter had set the Halle Tony Garnier ablaze.

On the program : The Big LebowskiGroundhog Day10 and Tropic Thunder.


The Sci-Fi classics all-nighter filled the giant screen at the Halle Tony Garnier with 2001, A Space OdysseySoylent GreenThe Time Machine and District 9.

And Georges Méliès' little gem A Trip to the Moon (Le Voyage dans la Lune) was screened as a bonus.


Johnny Cash, the Beatles, heavy metal and rock made for a 100% musical all-nighter, featuring American GraffitiA Hard Day's NightThis is Spinal Tap and Walk the Line at #Lumière2012.

Alexandre Astier, superstar of French humor, was on hand to introduce the Monty Python all-nighter.

The hilarious lineup included Monty Python and the Holy GrailLife of BrianThe Meaning of LifeAnd Now for Something Completely Different.


Following versions by Ridley Scott, James Cameron and David Fincher, the director of the saga's fourth film, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, was at the Halle Tony Garnier to introduce the Alien all-nighter event at #Lumière2014.

A great fan of horror flicks, Alain Chabat delivered a famous parody of the genre with Fear City : a Family-Style Comedy (La Cité de la Peur). In Lyon, he introduced the Fright Night all-nighter featuring The ThingNight of the Living DeadInsidious and The Evil Dead.


The Band of Buddies all-nighter: L'Aventure c'est l'aventureThe HangoverFrench Fried Vacation 2 (Les Bronzés font du ski) and My Best Pals (Mes meilleurs copains)... A cozy night to share with 5,000 of your closest friends!

Last year, 5,000 festivalgoers headed into orbit for the Outer Space all-nighter. The itinerary included GravityInterstellarStar Trek and The Martian.
