The Godard Project

Enfant terrible of the New Wave of the early eighties, Jean-Luc Godard crossed the new millennium with works of singular radicalism (Film Socialisme, Goodbye to Language...). These works will be screened, along with the premiere of his latest film, The Image Book, which received a special Palme d'Or in Cannes. The event will launch the ambitious undertaking by the Institut Lumière over the coming months and years: the screening at Rue du Premier-Film of Godard’s entire filmography.
