The Lumière festival DVD Market contains the largest collection of heritage DVDs in France, with no less than 4,500 titles! It’s the perfect opportunity to look for rarities or rediscover classics.
Located in the heart of the Festival Village, the DVD Market will open its doors on Friday, October 12th at 7:30pm, then remain open from 10:30am to 9pm (non-stop) throughout the festival.

Come discover the section dedicated to Jane Fonda, the 10th laureate of the Lumière Award! You’ll find her works and her family’s filmography, movies that have made an impact on her era. You’ll also find a special section devoted to activist cinema in all its forms.

You’ll also find a special section devoted to activist cinema in all its forms Henri Decoin to Muriel Box, to films by special guests and personalities honored at this 10th edition: Jean Luc-Godard, Claire Denis, Alfonso Cuaron. Lumière’s epic screenings, re-releases, and sublime moments of silent cinema will also be celebrated!
This year, a special area will be dedicated to DVD and Blu-Ray box sets, shining a spotlight on the impressive work of video editors. Special collections focusing on major actors, directors, cinema masterpieces or collector DVDs await you.
Whether you’re a newcomer or a savvy cinephile, there’s something for everyone at the DVD market! Divided into over twenty categories, five new genres have been added for this edition: French Cinema, American Cinema, European Cinema, Silent Films and Box Sets.
Avant In a special French premiere, the DVD of the series, "My Journey Through French Cinema" sera will be on sale exclusively at the festival! This exceptional release will join a selection of films hand-picked by Bertrand Tavernier !
